Alston has won 25 columns of electrical train group orders in Australia Victoria state.

Brief introduction

Victoria state has announced a plan to add 25 columns X'Trapolis 2.0 type high capacity electrical train groups from Alston.Order values 986 million Australian dollars(about ＄768.8 million )

This order is for train X’Trapolis 2.0,total 6 fleets,the concerning designing work has already began.It is estimated to start manufacturing in 2022,and to be delivered before 2026.New train will started to run on three lines(Craigie line, high ground line, Frankstone line).They will gradually replace the Melbourne Metro's Comeng-type electric trains.
